Mitra Zarei is a Tehran-based visual artist who began her artistic and cultural practice in 2009. Alongside her work as an artist, she is also active as a translator. Mitra has participated in several group exhibitions, including Khat-e Banaei at the Malek National Museum (2020), Naghsh-e Maghsoud focusing on Kufic calligraphy (2023), the mirrorwork exhibition Eyvan-e Ayeneh (2023), and the photography show Countdown (2024).
She works with a variety of materials, with a particular focus on ceramic art.
