Hanieh Khodabandeloo is a visual artist based in Tehran, Iran. She earned her bachelor’s degree in carpet design before transitioning to photography, driven by her passion for the medium. Hanieh’s work focuses on capturing inner feelings and emotions, viewing each subject as an individual with unique thoughts and concerns. Through her photography, she portrays the complexities of societal life and everyday situations, aiming to reflect the nuanced experiences of contemporary existence.
She works with various art forms including ceramics, video art and installation. These vast experiences in different branches of art liberated her from being shackled to a single medium.
